Blackberry Launches two new phones Blackberry Z10 and Q10 hoping it may bring back its name and fame and will be available in the market in first quarter of 2013. RIM has also changed its name to Blackberry. Rim was working on blackberry 10 software since about 2 years.Blackberry 10 is totally a new version of the software and its similar to android and iphone.

The Z10 is a full touchscreen mobile phone which is having a 4.2 inch screen with a virtual keyboard on the screen which is a perfect fit on screen and looks almost like a physical keyboard. As any other Smartphone OS, blackberry came up with pages of apps by which you can do multiple functions in a single app, it is also having swipe feature which lets you do almost everything by swiping, left,right, up and down. Overall Blackberry Z10 is a phone you have been waiting if you are blackberry lover.

Sony Xperia Z Yuga

Though sony has failed to prove itself as one of the major smartphone supplier but sony Xperia series has been liked by many smartphones users for its design and functions. Sony has recently launched Sony Xperia Z Yuga android phone at CES 2013 event, which is a 5 inch giant touch screen phone, 1080 pixel screen with 1.5 GHz quadore qualcomm snapdragon S4 processor, 1 Gb of internal storage which is expandable with microSD slot, its is having a 13 megapixel camera with flash and HDR capture, it is also an dust and water resistant smartphone.

HTC M7

After a not so sucessful 2012 year for HTC, its looking forward in the year 2013 to prove itself as the leading manufacturer of smartphones in the market by introducing a range of smartphones and HTC M7 is may help to get back its share in the smartphone market.  The M7 seems to be an updated version of Droid DNA and the phone may have 4.7 inch touch screen with 1080 pixels. This phone will have android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a possible 4.2 update with a quadcore processor, updated version of HTC Sense and a 32GB of Internal storage and expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2013

After establishing a partnership with Microsoft on the 11th of February 2011 Nokia, a mobile phone company popular world over had announced the launch of this marvelous device Nokia 920. This phone incorporating the Windows 8 operating system has a fleet of applications and features that can amaze its users. Some of its features being 8.7MP rear camera with facilities of LED flash and 1.7MP front cameras that gifts its users a wonderful experience of video calling. It also supports full high definition video recording bringing life to the videos.
The hardware of this handset is also marvelous being powered by Snap Dragon S4 Chipset and touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The battery life of this phone is another additional and attracting feature. 3G, 4G, WIFI, Bluetooth, NFC etc., are some of its connectivity features.

HTC 8S

Powered by Aderono 305 GPU and Core Krait Processor of 1GHz this handset is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and high definition video facility. It has an internal storage of 4GB and works on 512MB RAM. This also has excellent connectivity features like 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0 etc., It also has an SD slot backing up to 32GB and a good battery life too.

Samsung ATIV S

This device is known to be the windows phone with the biggest screen. Having almost similar features like the ones above, it runs on a RAM of 1GB. The additional features include two versions of internal storage 16GB and 32GB. It also has 7GB of free Sky Drive.

Fhotoroom App

This app is Windows’ take on Adobe’s Photoshop. While it obviously does not provide the same level of functionality as Photoshop, it does have all the basic features such as rotation, cropping, resizing, etc. This app like many others in the Windows store has both free and paid versions. The free version of Fhotoroom only allows for images up to 3 megapixels and basic editing features on the other hand the paid version of Fhotoroom has a lot of advanced editing tools along with a few extra features.

Mine for Facebook App

Mine for Facebook is basically the Facebook app for devices running on the windows 8 operating system. It provides the user with all the usual features of the Facebook app like posting pictures, writing on walls, etc., while at the same time giving them much more. One of the additional features is that one can set the app to provide a timeline feed on their main windows screen thus never having to open the app to check Facebook; one can also tailor the feed to what he or she specifically needs. As the name suggests Samsung galaxy beam has something unique to offer in terms of beam projector. Yes you have got it right, Samsung has got a device which has built in projector which displays pretty much anything happening on the 4 “ inch display of the device . You can project a story for your children or presentation in your office or just watch videos by sliding the on/off switch buttons on the left side of the handset.
Out of the box the galaxy beam comes packed with 1GHz dual core processor and 8GB internal memory with 12.5 mm thickness. It looks quite sturdy but does not count itself on heavier side either. It’s the inclusion of projector that has made the device a little chunkier and gave an elevated look at the end of the device. The orange stripe surrounding the handset adds a chic look to the device and provides it with a unique identification.

The 5 MP rear camera with LED flash light renders good quality images on the screen with 480X800 resolution. However the failure to include AMOLED display have compromised with the image quality that gives blurred and shaky image when projects the images and videos on walls and ceilings. The crispiness and the quality of the image are lost when projected on the wall.

Another disappointment came with the OS that supports Android 2.3 ginger bread and not the latest ice cream sandwich version which restricts many android fanatics form using this phone. So, the Galaxy beam again constraints itself from the advanced android third party applications, affecting the utility and usability.

The battery life was the life saving feature of the device which would let you watch videos 3 hrs off the battery which is commendable. Watching the videos in low light surroundings of dark room give you a good viewing experience. So definitely the beam has no use in broad light outside.

To ensure you reap the maximum benefits of the so called projector (which can also be used as a torch), the Samsung galaxy beam comes installed with few projector apps. I loved the doodle utility which lets you draw/write anything on the screen with your fingers while giving a presentation. It also allows you erase it immediately without interrupting the content view for long. The pointers serve great purpose for pointing anything important or drawing attention which again enhances the use of projector.

While projecting, the brightness, color and volume are controllable with the astonishing capability to zoom pictures and videos up to 50”. The speakers deliver excellent sound factors while watching videos making it a very good affair to watch videos in group. With the quality audio quality and video playing capability, the folks have another good reason to grab it.
So the Samsung galaxy beam successfully delivers something unusual that not only proves the courageous and innovative factor of Samsung but also provides enough reason for it to receive accolades from competitors. Samsung however promises to check the limitations of android ginger bread with an up gradation soon.

What made me give a second glance to Samsung s III was its worth reading caption “ Inspired by nature. Designed for humans”.   This made me more enthusiasts towards the nature based model. I soon wanted to know what exactly in it is inspired by nature and made for humans. This boosted my eagerness to review the new launch to find does it really live up to its distinctive caption.
So, this made me share my thoughts on it so that you could decide whether you really are human to use it.( well I wonder, what who would not use it would be called aliens ?).
Let me first speak about its look and feel: (design)
The model is apparently longer than all the smartphones available in the market. ( or its previous model itself). So after the era of smartphones going slimmer and thinner, its now getting longer.  With longer body, it’s sure to have a larger display( 4.8” amoled display) giving you more space for apps and extra large screen for viewing movies, reading stories and playing games. ( not to forget the HD quality).
The curvy ends and tampered edges give a smooth feel to the device while the plastic casing gives nature based organic touch to it.( do not consider it cheap!) with solid gorilla glass protection.
The android operating system makes sure you get worth for the penny spent, enhancing the features of the device.
Few intelligent additions that could not go unnoticed:

1. Smart stay:

Indicated with eye logo on the top of the screen, the brightness on the display would be maintained as long as you are watching it. Your retina contact would keep the display on till you opt to switch your eye to some other entertainment.

 Direct call:

Another sensor feature added is sensing your desire to call. Wondering how? While texting a friend you realize to call him and reach the screen t your ears,bingo! You are mind is read. As soon as you reach to your ears, call is made to your friend.

 Smart alert:

This intelligent sensor would intimate your unnoticed actions like any missed calls or unread messages with a vibration alert so that you never again miss them.

 Voice command:

Though nothing new it just responds to your voice commands which could be to answer a call or take a photo.

 S beam:

It’s a cloud service which would let you transfer photos, messages, pictures and videos with your SIII counterparts.

 Buddy photo share:

One of the most advanced photo sharing feature that would identify  your friend’s faces and sharSamsung S III:

e the picture with them instantly.( so I no longer have to tag people in my list).

 Pop up play:

Lets you go multi-tasking. Text the friend while watching an HD movie. One of the amazing additions for humans of course!

 4G:

What else you could ask for in this fast paced world? It’s support for fastest carrier would just keep you ahead with the fastest technology.
